Volunteer Services
For more than 50 years, volunteers have supported the vital work of Barwon Health and have enhanced the health services provided by our organisation. Barwon Health is proud to have the support of over 1300 dedicated volunteers who donate more than 100,000 hours of their time each year. Volunteers are involved across all departments of our organisation, including mental health, aged care, rehabilitation, acute care and community health.
Thank you for your interest in supporting Barwon Health and becoming a volunteer. Unfortunately, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, Barwon Health volunteer programs are currently suspended. While we are working through a process to return our existing volunteers, we are not planning any recruitment. We encourage you to check back to this webpage for updates and hope to be in a position to welcome new volunteers soon.
