Barwon Health Virtual Emergency Care (ViEC) is a secondary consultation service provided by an emergency physician via telehealth (video call).

This service provides care across the Barwon South West Region, allowing nurses, allied health clinicians and medical practitioners to access specialist emergency advice and support.

If this is a life-threatening emergency or if the patient’s condition deteriorates, please dial 000 and request an urgent ambulance.

For a telehealth consultation, referrers need an internet-connected device with video and audio capabilities to join the call.
